Vibramech’s motor repair facility, based at its Chamdor site, enables clients to have vibrator motors repaired or refurbished to original manufacturing specifications. Repairs and refurbishments are carried out by qualified personnel with access to all relevant technical data required to provide the best possible repair service.
Not only are stators rewound to original specification, but also the specific double dipping and baking procedures, necessary for vibrator motors, as well as insulation and protection factors, are closely monitored and strictly adhered to. Special consideration is given to the winding overhang dimension and rigidity.
A repaired unit carries a 3-month warranty from delivery, which covers the free repair or replacement of those parts, which in the opinion of our technical department, are recognised as being defective.
Many companies mistakenly assume that a vibrator motor repair is comparable to that of a standard induction motor. Customers must take into consideration that the vibrator motor is a specialised self-propelled vibrating unit, required to perform an extremely arduous task. This means that the design criteria with respect to limits, fits, clearances, bearings, mechanical strength and electrical performance are vastly different from that of the standard induction motor.
All mechanical aspects pertaining to the repair are conducted at our repair facility. Only OEM specification bearings are used in the repair process, with FAG being the preferred supplier.
We are your vibrating systems’ solutions partner for equipment uptime and longevity!
Vibramech has over 40 years of vibrating equipment design and mineral processing experience, which enables us to supply screens, feeders, grease tables and drives best suited to our clients’ requirements.
Our design practice makes use of Finite Element Method and Strain Gauge Analysis to prove structural integrity, and detailed attention is paid to wear protection and commonality of components to minimise spare parts inventories.
Our flexibility in design provides customers the freedom to design their plant infrastructure without standard equipment dimensional constraints. This enables equipment to be retrofitted to an existing infrastructure without the need for major alterations to chutes, underpans and support steelwork.
Our equipment is designed to streamline processes, reduce downtime and contribute to customers’ increased bottom line through a cost-effective solution.
Aftersales is not an afterthought for Vibramech. Let us solve your vibrating equipment challenges! Complete the enquiry form or call us on +27 11 762 5501.
